  • Man Utd fans slam Sky Sports pundit for bizarre Alexis Sanchez theory: ‘Clueless’ ======================================  Manchester United star Sanchez has endured a nightmare start to his Old Trafford career since joining from Arsenal in January. The Chile international, who is expected to be benched for today’s match with Chelsea, has managed just four goals for the club so far.CHELSEA vs MANCHESTER UNITED | FOLLOW LIVE UPDATES! Manchester United thought they were getting a proven goalscorer in Sanchez but, 10 months on from his arrival, he is yet to spark into life. Last night, Sky Sports pundit Sidwell theorised his struggle was down to living away from London. Why? Because of the weather up north. He said on The Debate: “Could it be down to his personal life? “Living in London, being the main man in the dressing room, the way he was on the pitch. “Then going to move up north. Obviously the weather is not as good as it is in London. “Could personal factors be to blame?” Fans, however, are unimpressed with the theory. And they have taken to social media to criticise Sidwell for his belief that Sanchez’s struggles may be down to the weather. @Harrychally said: “Sanchez performances down to the difference in weather between London and Manchester ?? Clueless Sidwell.” @The_Paris_Angel added: “Takes coat off* Steve Sidwell has just suggested that Sanchez might be struggling in Manchester because the climate is different to London.” And @Jackcurtin8 waded in with: “Steve Sidwell blaming the weather up north for Sanchez dip in form hahaha! Do me a favour mate!! “The palm trees are clearly aplenty in London, they'd need an electric blanket lad.” Sanchez is set for a place on the United bench for their game against Chelsea today (12.30pm).
