I only hope if Henry does get some joy with a (potentially) another crop of exciting talent he gets the message and jumps ship at the 1st sight of incoming yachts (e.g mega rich clubs) cruising by to nab their best players, unlike that poor man Leonardo. There's only so much a manager can do when the owner's so willing to let every club under the sun mosey on by to rip out the very spine of the team for a big fee. Monaco could've been a blooming darn good team if they could've hung onto their best players. Mbappe's clearly the obvious one most immediately think about but Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Fabinho and even Bakayoko turned out to be big misses for them. Sure Bakayoko isn't Premier League level, but he was an important player for Monaco. If he and the other hidden stars they found stayed, Monaco could be a really good and lovable team since they would've rose to prominence through developing youth, not just buy-buy-buy like PSG and Man City Most fans like a hardworking team which earns their success as opposed to one that just buys it.

Could potentially do really well there, if he has backing of the board and can control a dressing room, he'll hopefully be rather successful at Monaco, perhaps providing competition for PSG again

Yes! Monaco have some very good young talent and a good ethos in terms of recruitment. Henry will flourish and take the squad on further.

Dumb question, as the reply can only be generic and mainly positive. Waste of 10 minutes
